Welcome to House of Arabia ("www.thehouseofarabia.com"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website and the services offered through it. By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Website.
1.1) Access
The website for House of Arabia is provided for personal and non-commercial use only. If you do not follow the rules outlined in these terms, or if we suspect you are not following them, we may suspend your access to the site, close your account, refuse future orders, or suspend your use of any promotions.
You are not allowed to download or alter the website, interfere with its network, access other computer systems without permission, or use it for illegal purposes. Additionally, you cannot use tools like data mining or robots, frame the website's content, or use hidden text with our trademarks without permission.
Using the website does not give you the right to link to it or use any trademarks, logos, or designs found on it. We cannot guarantee the website will always run smoothly or be free of defects or viruses. Accessing the website from outside the UK means you are responsible for following local laws.

Intellectual property rights means rights such as copyright, trademarks, domain names, design rights, database rights, patents and all other intellectual property rights of any kind, whether or not they are registered or unregistered (anywhere in the world). We reserve all of our rights in any intellectual property in connection with these terms and conditions.
Nothing in these terms and conditions grants you any legal rights in the website other than as necessary to enable you to access the website. You agree not to adjust, circumvent or delete any notices contained on the website (including any intellectual property notices), or any digital rights or other security technology embedded or contained in the website.
2.1) Eligibility to Order
To place an order with us, you must be at least 18 years old and:
-Use your actual name, contact details, and payment information when making a purchase.
-Use a delivery address where we can send your order.
-Have a valid payment method that is accepted on our website.
2.2) Order Acceptance
All orders placed on our website are subject to our acceptance process, which works as follows:
-Before finalizing your order, you'll have the chance to review and confirm all the details, including your address and payment information.
-Once you've placed your order, we'll send you an acknowledgement email to let you know we've received it. Please note that this email is not a confirmation or acceptance of your order.
-Upon dispatching your order for delivery, we'll send you a confirmation email. This email serves as both confirmation and acceptance of your order. If any items from your original order are unavailable, you'll receive a refund for those items.
-Unless otherwise agreed, we aim to deliver your order within 30 days of order confirmation. If we're unable to meet this timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
-By clicking the 'Pay Now' button, you authorize us to process your order as requested.
We may not be able to accept your order if:
-One or more products in your order are unavailable.
-We're unable to process payment or your chosen payment method is declined.
-There's a pricing or product description error.
-Your order doesn't comply with local import restrictions at your delivery destination.
-You don't meet our order eligibility criteria or fail to comply with our terms.
-If we're unable to accept your order, our Customer Service team will contact you promptly.
2.3) Prices, Payment and Charges
We strive to maintain accurate pricing on our website, but occasional errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you've ordered, our Customer Service team will contact you. You may have the option to confirm your order at the correct price (if available), but please understand that we're not obligated to accept or fulfill orders for products mistakenly priced.
Please note:
-Product prices on our website may change, and offers may be withdrawn at any time. Make sure to review the terms of any relevant offer.
- For UK customers, product prices listed include UK VAT. Delivery costs are not included and will be added during checkout.
- Different taxation rules and additional charges may apply depending on your delivery address. For international shipments, you may need to pay import duties upon receiving the products. We'll inform you during checkout if import duties are included or if you need to pay them separately. We cannot control these charges or advise on their amount. You're responsible for any import duties and taxes not included. Contact your local Customs office for more information before placing your order.
- All credit and debit cards undergo validation checks and authorization by your card issuer. If your payment card issuer refuses to authorize payment for any reason, we won't be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
- If you decide to cancel or return products purchased in a promotion or at a discounted price, you'll be refunded at the Checkout price. Please note: Our Returns Policy applies when returning products purchased at a discount.
2.4) Product Restrictions and Descriptions
We want to inform you that the product images displayed on our website may not always perfectly match the actual product. Occasionally, colors may vary due to differences in screen resolution or settings on your computer or device. If you need more information about our products before making a purchase, please reach out to our Customer Service team.
Please note that all products are subject to availability at the time of purchase. Once a product is sold out, it will be indicated as such on the website and may not be restocked. If any products you've ordered are out of stock, we'll contact you to discuss options, including canceling the whole or part of your order.
Substitutions for out-of-stock items will only be made with your consent beforehand. If a replacement product has a higher price, you'll be responsible for covering the price difference. If we're unable to reach you, we may either cancel the entire order or proceed with the transaction after canceling the relevant parts.
3.1) Delivery Options

3.2) Delivery Carriers and Time
Deliveries will be managed by third-party couriers. By placing an order on our website, you agree to abide by the delivery conditions set forth by our delivery partners.
Upon placing your order, you'll receive an order confirmation email with the estimated delivery date of the products. If you don't receive this information, we'll aim to deliver your order within 30 days after dispatch. While we strive to meet the estimated delivery date, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may cause delays. In such cases, we'll make every effort to expedite delivery, but we won't be held responsible for any resulting losses. Please note that occasional delivery delays may occur, especially during busy periods. If needed, our Customer Service team can provide further guidance on expected delivery times.
In certain situations, our delivery partner may offer alternative delivery options, such as signature release or leaving the package with a neighbor (referred to as 'On Demand Delivery Service'). By selecting one of these options, you acknowledge and accept that we bear no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of this service.
3.3) Delivery Restrictions
Kindly be aware that certain products, such as fragrances, cannot be delivered outside of the UK due to various factors, including local import restrictions. These restrictions are subject to change based on several factors. Please note that details regarding delivery restrictions are provided on individual product pages as well.
Additionally, please note that we can only deliver to one shipping address per order.
3.4) Delivery Taxes and Duties
Depending on where you're having your items delivered, different taxation rules and additional charges may apply. If you're shipping items internationally, you might be required to pay import duties upon receiving the products. During the checkout process, we'll notify you if import duties are included. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot provide guidance on their amount. It's your responsibility to pay any import duties or taxes. We recommend contacting your local Customs office before placing your order for further information and an estimate of the 'landed cost'. Please note that House of Arabia Limited is not responsible for items confiscated or delayed by local Customs authorities.
For customers in the US, we do not collect sales or use tax in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales or use tax, unless your state is exempt from taxation. Many states require a sales/use tax return filing at the end of the year for taxable purchases, including internet purchases, and payment of use tax on those purchases. For more details, please contact your local customs office or respective tax authority.
It's your responsibility to comply with all requirements imposed by the local Customs authority regarding your order, including providing identification information if necessary. We recommend familiarizing yourself with local import duties or other requirements before placing an order. We will not be liable if you breach any such laws.
Certain countries may also require additional certification or information for delivery, which could delay your delivery by approximately seven days on top of the standard delivery time for that destination. Please note that if we're unable to obtain the necessary documentation for your delivery, we may need to cancel your order.
4.1)Returns Process
We provide a full refund (excluding delivery costs) for any items returned within 14 days of the delivery date. To make the process convenient for you, we offer a free pick-up service for all returns.
Once we receive your returned items, we'll process your refund as promptly as possible. Please keep in mind that depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
4.2) Order Cancellation
Depending on your location, you may have the legal right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or similar consumer legislation in the EU. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Please note that certain products listed as Non-Returnable Products are exempt from this right to cancel.
To cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, please contact our Customer Service team. Clearly state your wish to cancel, providing your order number, contact details, and details of the products you wish to cancel.
Once the products are returned to us, you'll receive a refund, including standard delivery costs for the applicable goods. You're responsible for arranging and covering the full cost of returning the order to us.
If your order has already been dispatched, please wait until you receive it before exercising your right to return.
All returned items undergo inspection. If the products have decreased in value due to your handling, we may deduct a corresponding amount from your refund. Reimbursements will be made no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods from you.
4.3) Shipping and Duties Refunds
Although we provide free returns for all orders, please be aware that the original delivery cost will not be included in your refund.
If you return an item, any taxes and import duties that were initially included in the purchase price will be refunded to you. However, if these charges were not included, you will be responsible for reclaiming the duty directly from your local Customs office.
5)Our Liability
We are accountable to you for any foreseeable loss or damage caused by us. If we fail to adhere to these terms, we are responsible for any loss or damage you incur that is a predictable outcome of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is considered foreseeable if it is apparent that it will occur, or if both parties knew it might happen at the time the contract was formed. We are not responsible for business-related losses. Our products are intended solely for domestic and private use. If you utilize the products for any commercial, business, or resale purpose, we bear no liability for any loss of profit, business interruption, or missed business opportunity.
6) Extra Terms
How we may use your personal information: We will only utilize your personal information in accordance with the guidelines outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Exclusive rights under this contract: This contract is solely between you and us. No other individual or entity shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
Severability clause: If any part of this contract is deemed illegal by a court, the remaining parts will still be valid and enforceable. Each paragraph of these terms operates independently.
Enforcement delay: Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. Our failure to immediately insist on your compliance with these terms or our delay in taking action against you for breaching this contract does not waive our right to enforce the contract at a later time.
Governing law and jurisdiction: These terms are governed by English law, and legal proceedings should be brought before the appropriate courts. Legal proceedings regarding the products can be initiated in the English courts. Residents of Scotland may bring legal proceedings in either Scottish or English courts, while residents of Northern Ireland may choose between Northern Irish or English courts.
